It's only manners to call someone how they want to be identified.

Try doing some research on the Internet. Then you might.

Just google transsexual.

Tv's I just refer to she when they are dressed out of respect for them.

Brighton - even Hove!

I call them she cos they have skirts and bras on and it would sound a bit daft if I called them he even though I know they are. They just look like ladies - especially the leggy one from Bourton

Is it 1970 ? A simple Google would have provided you with a wealth of knowledge.

I have the memory of a goldfish, so you'd best change your profile name.

Actually OP, I know what you mean. TS I get, TV I don't, especially when the "straight" he leaves a glowing verification about being balls deep in "she".

I've just learnt over the years to shrug and leave them to it!

it is respect, when a male TV is dressed as a woman or the rarer woman dressed as a man they like to feel the part so addressing them accordingly shows respect and acceptance of letting people be what they want to be without judging them.

TS is different like TG as far as I am aware they have had the op and are what they are now not what they were born albeit they may still be in the process of gender change and not had all the work done.

Its partly about "Polari" the gay language, developed in the 1950's

if you are intrested just google it......

when homosexuality was illegal, gays used their own language for protection, many of the words are used today.
