And i dont mean liars on fab. I mean in life generally..why do people have to lie about petty little things? Especially those who you may consider to be friends.
What will they achieve by lying? Pisses me right off..

Despise liars. An employee made some lies about me as his manager and colluded with 2 or 3 others to back his lies. Despite positive statements and evidence to show his lies my mgr never investigated properly and I lost my career. The money I won from the company at tribunal was spent retraining and I changed career. The same guy a year on has made 2 false facebook profiles one as me with my info and pictures etc to continue telling lies about me to the extent the police are involved. Liars should be purged off the face of the earth |

I agree. The choices are sometimes hard wired into us though and we don't notice we can say no instead of yes or change our minds. |

It depends. An omission of truth can be just as bad as lying. Wo/Men not admitting they are married. Never denying it but ensuring the truth is hidden, for example. |

Maybe as bad, but its still not lying. I agree with you though it does depend on the situation, but if morals are there/kept. Hiding the truth can't be bad as everyone is entitled to keep things quiet if they want to. |

Anyone who says they don't ever - is also a liar 
I made a deal with myself a long time ago never to lie that would cause hurt or pain to someone or out of malice etc

Well, it is my contention that we do not have to. Most people may choose to because it is easier, but there are alternatives. Sometimes they take more courage, more tact, more skill - more effort. No-one is infallible of course, but it is possible for eg years at a time. |
