Should there be a function on the forum to 'like' or 'dislike' a post, like there is on Facebook? I personally think it would be a good idea - would certainly save quoting a post just to give it a thumbs-up.

There is a fab facility for pictures, I see no possible reason for a like button for posts, it would just become a competition and numerous threads asking why no one liked their thread or posts  |

On another site there is the chance to give a post a "kudos" point ... And the best posts and threads went to a "wall of fame".
It was one of the most contentious things going on with accusations of cronyism, trolling and abuse  |

Ooh that sounds like a barrel of fun!
Having a 'like' button is lazy, if you like a post respond to it, nowt nicer than that  |
