Overreacting

Hi its my first post so please be gentle.

I just want to know if I am overreacting to a message I have had.

Here is the situation I have been chatting to a nice guy for a few days and we have agreed to meet for a social drink to see if there is a connection.

Then today he sent me a message saying "Not that it matters what nationality are you your skin is lovely and dark"

My gut reaction to the delete and block as it does matter or he would ask.

Am I overreacting to the message?

I don't think it matters if you are overreacting or not, if something someone said makes you feel uncomfortable with meeting them, go with your gut instinct.

Seems innocent enough to me. You never know he might be disappointed if your not from a exotic far away land x

I don't even think it was badly phrased tbh, he's probably just asking in a get to know you type way.

But as the others said, if it makes you feel uncomfortable then go with your gut x
