For Ray Dolby who died aged 80 yesterday.

Followed by applause round the room on the surround sound system.

His last word was "Thx".

I didn't realise he was still alive until I heard of his death.

I'll just play a couple of subwoofer-rattling THX indents later...a tribute to Ray and to get my own back on the gays next door for the Hi-NRG they were playing most of the day while I was trying to study 'Of Mice and Men'
