What's the data usage allowance per month ?

It's better than many phone deals out there .... And you could use Skype for making calls ...

Not a bad deal but they're only about £200 to buy and you can get a Giffgaff SIM for £5/month

Thanks for messages. I'm gonna get the kids tablets for Christmas. Orange called me (I didn't call them) and offered me this deal coz they said I'm a loyal customer, apparently.

Just been down Currys and I can get the new Samsung Tab II with 3 years insurance for £180 each. Just orange said they wanna know today coz it's a deal of the week.

If it's orange I think the data allowance is only 250MB so not such a good deal

She was defo giving it the hard sell. I can't call them which sounds a bit suss. She's calling back at 4. I'll ask but it looks like the aforementioned Samsungs from Currys are steady and just right for the kids and 3 years insurance too (which I know Currys really push) but needed with 9 and 6 year old boys I thinks

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It doesn't sound a good "deal" for the Nexus. I bought mine outright and I have a £5 a month unlimited data deal. That costs about the same as your monthly payments. They're just selling you what you can get.

See if they can reduce it to £10 or £12 a month and then it might be worth it.

However, do you want the children to have unlimited data?

Hmmmmmmm they're not really at an age to be checking out porn and stuff just yet. But I suppose they're getting older every day.

Predominantly for games. They're always after my fone for that reason! I was thinking Nirendo DS but tablets seem much better and maybe educational too

My sister got the little ones Kindle Fire HDs and it has made controlling spending buying apps and games easier as it's through their single Amazon account. For some things they still prefer the iPhone. They get books onto it as much as games.
