In general (and we have heard from a lot of exceptions here already) women need a physical and emotional connection with a man while men just need to procreate. We are animals and as such have natural instincts. For the woman she needs to know that her children will have a strong blood line and intelligence in order for it to survive whereas the male of the species just needs to know more humans are born to ensure future existence. Obviously over tens of thousands of years we have matured and evolved into more sophisticated creatures but natural instincts remain... |

Umberto Eco once postulated the theory in an essay of his (How to Watch Pornography) that in fact we ALL need a context for porn. Don't agree at all. Pretty much every long term partner (fuck buddy or girlfriend) has wanted sex at least as much as me.
This 'women don't like sex' thing is just a stereotype. Same for 'all men love sex all the time'. I know guys who aren't that bothered at all. |
