I worked for a multinational securities company that had its US East coast HQ on floor 76 of the north Tower.

I was on the phone with one of the sales managers when the plane hit the building.

Just noise, then i heard screaming, then the line went dead.

The memory of that phone call will stay with me till the day i die.

Very sorry for the tragic loss of life.

Sadly not much has changed in East / West relations since then and the USA are still considered to be the enemy in many areas of the Muslim world.

It was and remains the day that changed the modern world. The images are something that will remain in the memory of everyone from the youngest to the oldest whom saw them on that day.

The legacy of 9/11 has been countless other terror acts, many stopped by security forces and some successful, the two wars of Afghanistan and Iraq with many thousands killed leading to a situation where a leader uses chemical warfare against his own people in a civil war and USA and UK citizens while rightly appalled by what they know has happened are prepared to walk away rather than allow our countries to get involved because the public fear it will become a much bigger confrontation than the politicians would have us believe.

RIP to all those innocents whom lost their lives that horrible day. Those of us who watched live with the ongoing legacy that was 9/11.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I heard the announcement of reports of an accident on the radio before going into a pitch for work. By the time I came out the horror was being reported.

I got back to the office to one of my staff trying to find her father, he survived, and me realising I had three cousins in danger.

Twists of fate meant one had taken the morning off at short notice, another was outside the the building and away from the main debris. The third did the long walk down the stairs.

My thoughts are with the families living with their loss.

Its amazing how low the americans stooped and killed their own ppl.

The tapes of the brave fire fighters who were sent to their deaths is there to listen too...all of the lower floors were rigged, glass blown out from the inside. When will ppl learn to see wot they did? Im actually pleased our own government didnt back bombing syria. Russia now has shown how to deal with these situations..ie give up their chemical weapons. UK should be leaders and not lapdogs to the zionist murderers.

Just my thoughts"

R.I.P. to the 2800+ on the day.

R.I.P. to the 100,000's ( and some)killed since due to US policy.

It's shocking to believe that this really happened and affected so many people and how it still affects our everyday lives

When you watch the footage again and hear the real time commentary you would seriously think it was a film !
