"Yea I would ring them, that's someone elses food, they've paid for it ect and may really need it "
Sorry, but I do my food shopping online all the time and have been ripped off plenty, by the supermarket giving me products at a higher value and charging for it! So no, It's probably not worth contacting them, as will cost them more plus they will refund the person who didn't receive what they ordered!
Will just be proof that they need to be more vigilant, and yes I have returned items I didn't order as I have noticed them at the time of delivery! |

Good point however they are due what they have paid for. I have called them up about missing items before and they have refunded them

What's wrong with a bit of good old fashioned honesty? Yes the person who is missing their shopping will be refunded or have them delivered at a later date.
I doubt tesco would bother coming to collect the extra shopping you have and will probably just let you keep it. |

I think the position is that if any item (or items) are delivered to you by a company, and you didn't request or buy them in the first place, you have a legal right to keep them. |

change company, I have tried 3 supermarkets, and am very happy now, they do include higher price goods as a substitute, if my preferred brand isn't available, but don't charge any extra. |

I have had food that wasnt mine delivered before now and have always called them up...Asda are normally very good.
The delivery driver came back on two occasions as he was still in the area . I had an email off them the next day giving me two free deliveries and £20 off my next shop.
so honesty is the best policy |

Of course he rang the company! Someone might have actually died from not recieving their bar of chocolate! However , its the companies fault .
Ever pinched a chip from someone else's poke? It always tastes better
