Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Should I pack away the summer things and stick to the autumn/winter wardrobe? Is it too soon or might we have another splash of the Indian Summer?

I have an inkling that this is it. ive already got my knee high boots out and have stopped leaving the bedroom window open at night. ive kinda got a transistion wardrobe going on at the moment. Floaty summer tops twinned with cotton scarves and cardys.

I have taken out the light knit cardis but I don't want to get boots on yet. That's depressing.

Tomorrow is a difficult outfit day. It's going to be 16c here in London but the wind is coming from the North East. I have to dress for a formal awards thing, choir and then a social meet. Travelling on the tube so I can't really manage heels until the meet, when I'll be in the car.

Any suggestions?

Will still be wearing shorts as long as I can get away with it, as every year...the first snow usually sees them put away until Spring though...lol. HR

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I read somewhere we'll be getting an indian summer. Hope so!

My winter wardrobe = summer wardrobe + coat, trainers and umbrella.

That makes it sound like coat singular. I've got spring coats, autumn coats and winter coats.

I have just the one wardrobe, and wear the same kind of clothing whatever the weather, I only think I wore my coat a few times last winter.

I can't afford more than one coat for cool weather. I just wear more clothes under it when it gets really cold.
