with my new camera I got yesterday..she hasnt been on any meets yet, and so far we've only done animals and around buildings
sometimes I get it wrong and dont press her right buttons though...but when I do, its magic I'll call her Nik for short |

sexondabeech, a D3200 18-55vr lens and a 55-200..thats actually not that bad handheld when im steady lol
just uploading a few online soon..even some of the accidental ones look good lol

I love photography but am pretty crap if I'm honest  . I've just booked a photography course though and fancy getting an all singing camera. I've been looking at the Panasonic GX7. Any thoughts from the camera buffs out there. I'm just going on my experiences and I've a Panasonic now which is superb but only a super compact!!
Any advice would be appreciated thanks  |

The GX7 is gorgeous but it's bloody expensive and I hate electronic viewfinders. You could get a lot of DSLR for that money, particularly second hand and they'll outperform the Panasonic on almost every level, other than the fancy bells and whistles.
I also hate the look of Panasonic images, they always look a little processed and unreal.
Get a Canon or Nikon DSLR instead and you won't look back...obviously if you're serious, you'll get a Canon |

Thanks it is gorgeous and I think that's what's been swaying me. It's gonna take a bit more research I think as its a big wodge to part with!! |
