Are you good at complaining or do you just feel bitter about things and moan in private.
I've become quite adept at complaining as I get older. When I was younger I used to let things go through a lack of confidence. |

I don't like complaining but unfortunately since becoming a single parent, I seem to have spent the last 8 years complaining to the CSA, housing benefit office etc, housing association. Its very stressful and time consuming and would much rather be doing something more fun and worthwhile |

Ask your housing association if they have a welfare officer.
I have been through the same (mainly through illness) and my HA have assigned me a dedicated WO, who will do all my paperwork for me (if needed) and be a voice for you at appeals etc. x |

I complain when it's needed and got the PC shop to exchange the fan I bought that wouldn't fit my computer, took two weeks of emailing and a quote from trading standards before they'd budge though |

Yes if I have been wronged and if my complaining will get me somewhere. Complaining for the sake of complaining, particularly over quite trivial things is not my thing though. |

2 mins later, silence, bliss & harmony returned, job done

Last time I complained was to my credit card company. After talking to someone first who said it would take 10 days to get my money back I asked to speak to a manager.
The very nice manager said it would be back within 2 days and it was.

I complain when I need to.
Got Talk Talk to cancel a £77 bill just last week.
Also got 4 weeks free travel from my local bus company through a complaint I made.
