It's just hit me that my teeny tiny little 7.3 baby boy is now 2.5 years old and starts nursery tomorrow!!!

He is still a baby to me. I hope he loves it. I shall be at the gym trying to pass the time till I collect him and hoping he's enjoying himself...

Sob, sniffle....

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

This is the stage where he turns into a walking sandpit. My advice is to turn him upside down after every nursery session before you take him home.

He'll enjoy and enjoy coming back to you even more.

Ha! Yeah they've told me to dress him in old crappy clothes as he will get messy. We spent a couple of hours there together on Thursday so he could get his bearings and he had paint on his hands and in his hair and play doh stuck to his shoes! X

He'll be absolutely fine and you will be too, its just the anticipation of leaving him thats all, but once you go to pick him up and see what a good time he has had you'll be pleased as punch.

My two little ones love nursery, the younger one (girl) cries now and then but she's just been moved up into her big brothers class so it's all smiles

Good luck and take a tissue

I don't know which hurts more... when you have to leave them crying their eyes out not wanting you to leave... or when they run off happily and don't even say "bye Mummy".

Hope it all goes ok! xx

Need to know basis

Its just the beginning miss Bottie Hottie...and guess what!!! They never cease to be your babies, the only change is that you have to make them sit down or get on a high step on the stairs to tell them off when they get taller than you! Lol

He will have enjoyed it...relax and enjoy your free time x

Well he's home. No fuss at all when I left him. He's had lots of fun. Painting, singing, playing with the toys. Fed the fish. Hasn't stopped chatting about it since I collected him.

Hope everyone else's first day went ok!

I went to the gym for an hour, had a sunbed and popped to see some old work friends. Got some shopping and came home for a peaceful coffee before I went to pick him up x
