i was in court friday for financhel settlement ,and was ordered to pay my ex £40,000from my pension as offset, so she had cash for deposit on home for her self ,she told the judge that the property where she lives now,was to expensive and the owner was going to sell soon ,so needed money to buy her own place ,yet her brother as given me copy of the deeds and it shows that her mother and boyfriend bought the property while we were still living together, should i appeal or say good luck to her |

How long were you married? do you have children under 18? There are lots of deciding factors. I agree she may have been underhanded but there is also a bigger picture I'm sure |

Get a solicitor - they could save you £40k."
And then probably have a bill for £20k!! |

Check your various insurance policies - car, house, contents even credit cards. Some of them include legal assistance and it doesn't always apply to the item insured. |

You are allowed free 30 mins with a lawyer. Get the phone book out. Take your evidence with you...
Make sure U chose wisely... Is no good going to one who specialises in a different area of law .... |
