Was working in Harpenden. Stopped by the fuzz on the way there and again on the way back. I swear the copper looked gutted when he realised I'd been working and not drink-driving. lol.

not me, my daughter got there at 11pm, they said she has Croop?? and really bad tonserlites (selling oh well shut it)
she was on oxygen and given steriods and stuff, BUT as soon as i refused to let them trainsfure her due to lack of beds, she was well enought to go home? |

Typical. They didn't want the responsibility for something happening to her on a gurney in a corridor somewhere coz they didn't have a bed to put her in. I blame Gordon Brown, everything is his fault. Bastard.  |

Awwww Kitty the wee soul, tonsillitis and croup not good. Hope your GP is right round to see her and get her fixed up xxxx
p.s I know it's an old fashioned remedy for croup, but ppl used to run the taps and put kids in steamy bathrooms for a few minutes, so that the moist air eased the cough and they could breath a bit better. xxxxx |

Mines been hospitalised with this and Lanies advice is sound - need to keep moisture in the air, damp towel on a radiator helps a bit, or head over a bowl of steaming water is also easy to do. Thing is it sounds a lot worse that it necessarily is and mine got ratty been tired rather than ill, generally bounced back after 24/36 hours.
Hope she’s feeling better soon
