Burgers when you have steak at home?

I heard this on This Morning, this morning. It doesn't make sense to me as sometimes you don't fancy a steak and want a burger.

What do swingers feel about the _iew that if you have steak at home you wouldn't go out for a burger?

Are they on about celeb blokes cheating on supermodel wives?

Sometimes a burger is more interesting than a steak.

That a very philosophical debate for a Friday afternoon, are we really talking food or is it a metaphor for life

the steak at home you have to thaw out, prepare, then cook. Afterwards you have a mess of dishes to clean as well. you go out for a burger, you order what you like, it's served up to you with a drink and fries (chips) and the mess is taken care of for you when your done.

so yeah you may have steak...you just dont feel like all the work involved with having it.

I have the finest fillet steak at home, that is to be savored. Sometimes though, I have a hunger that only a burger can satisfy

And sometimes I like to let someone else cook me a steak!

This quote is by Paul Newman and is in reference to his wife when asked why as a hollywood heart throb he hadn't had a string of affairs. Nothing to do with food really.

this is what i live by, hence have never felt the need to cheat.

the steak isnt, above all, merely a nice looking meat, but the entire package. the taste, texture.

a burger from some mucky van down the road just cant compete.

now, if there is a more succulent steak elsewhere, then thats fine, just make sure you get rid of the steak you have at home first otherwise it will go cold, and, when you try to eat it later, you will probably be in a lot of trouble lol

cant keep the metaphor up any longer lol

It's a writing day so my mind goes off in lots of thoughtful directions. And This Morning was on in the background earlier.

A steak diet would become very boring after a while.

Could you try and turn the steak at home into a more appealing meal before trying the other steak?

I've never cheated in a relationship and I wouldnt. If my partner didn't want to swing it would be the end of the lifestyle for me. Everyone has a fantasy hook up, mines emma watson, but even given the chance without consent by my partner I wouldn't.

Actually I just read that Paul Newman was a confirmed cannibal and ate his wife so this is quite a convoluted simile.

A decent burger is made from prime steak with a little seasoning so a plain steak could be seen as second beast

Steak is to be savoured and enjoyed slowly, burgers you stuff as quickly as possible and get in a right mess doing so... there is a time and place for both!
