All this talk in the media about sport, transfer fees etc had me trawling in a different direction this past couple of days.

It seems that September has not got off to a great start for the sporting world....It has lost...amongst others....

Don Meineke, former American basketball player, aged 87

Brian Smith, former Bolton Wanderers football player, aged 57

Lennart Risberg, Former Swedish Olympic boxer, aged 78

and

Daniele Seccarecci, the Italian bodybuilder, aged just 33

Just a few of the many that have shuffled off to meet the Great big referee in the sky....gone....but never forgotten. R.I.P
