when you arrange for two people to meet, both have genuine profiles, both claim to hate having their time wasted and won't waste yours, both claim to contact you if there's a problem on meeting....
and both DON'T turn up without a txt or phone call  |

Think about it, in and out of the scene - you arrange a party.
You invite 80 people.
40 are unavailable and say so.
40 confirm they would love to come and will certainly be there.
20 turn up
20 dont cancel and don't turn up.
It is sadly quite common. |

Seriously though, there really is nothing we can do about no shows. We've been lucky and haven't had any yet.
Some people do have genuine reasons for not showing, but it wouldn't hurt to communicate the fact would it.  |

I must be one of the lucky ones i've only ever had one cancel and he sent flowers by way of an apology, still theres time yet i suppose to be left high n dry, very bad manners not to send at least a text or a quick call to say they cant make it |

we also have been lucky and although we dont meet often, weve only had 6 meets, people have always turned up, we do always chat on the phone first tho and so far have been able to out the fakers |

This is true, and very possibly the same percentage, which will however still have single guys appear to be the worst offenders due to the fact they are the majority.
