Is there any of you who travel to meets but don't have a car? How do you tend to get about? It's generally of during the day but getting back often proves difficult :/ |

Been to meets by bus , train....but now car is fixed ...C'est la vie public transport.....unless its to a club/party down south then back to trains/coach ! |

I dont drive, buses,trains,taxis or if its a meet requiring extra bodies possibly somneone I know who drives n likes helping out(obviously for the meet lol)...I havent really 'used' any lifts for a while..happy getting along by myself really if I can |

yeah, like I say it's the getting back that's hard when late at night or early hours in the morning and in a different city |

yeah, I think that may be the answer never really used them before. Guessing the cost a lot if your 30 mile or so away :/ I'm guessing you'd have to book in advance for one early hours in the morining |

Lifts, taxis, buses.... Lifts are from people I've already met most of the time tho and I will put towards drinks/entry fees or whatever. I have been known to return the favour with cake too |

30 miles away from nearest train station? You would be better off finding a cheap hotel x x |
