I am a grandad to 2 beautiful lively grand children I never thought in my younger days that this feeling would be so great and wonderful to enjoy.
My two never stop asking questions and always surprise me with what they come up with next.
Having had my own children young meant that the possibility of me being a young grandad was there ....and it is so we are up to speed.
My own perception when young of a granddad was a guy old and frail with a grey beard walking stick etc...how wrong is that todays grand parents can and are in their early thirties.
So I say look forward to it and at the end of the day when you are " knackerd" with entertaining them ha ha you can always give them back  . |
