Omfg... FUCK these N-words! I'm coming off jsa.
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've posted an few times about my journey of support for self employment while on jsa. I've had e-fucking-nough, today. Even on here I ask market research questions. I spend half of my day researching, doing start up tests and awaiting an workshop I have next week for business planning which will help with funding.
I'm pretty sure I was told to write anything job related including stiff employment stuff that I do. Only today to be told my claim will be sent to an decision maker. Grrrrr!! I'm so fucking close to the employment I wanna be in and would be comfortable in! And today feels like a slap in the face!
Did anyone else remembering leaving jsa to make the leap to self employment?
How easy was getting start up support? Financially and emotionally? Also with housing benefits. How was that when venturing down this road? Sorry for the rant. |

It's what they do mate, they encourage you by taking the rug out from under your feet. They're not intent on just helping you out the quick way.
I actually started seeing a business advisor last Tuesday after waiting half a year to be put on a course to get a Food Hygiene Certificate. They fucked it all up every step of the way and gave me this option instead. |

"Log every conversation and copy any correspondence. Also make them sign for letters. Good luck to you mate. It's a disgrace how these people operate. "
It's the new indirect way of saving money, since they cant get the other shit back from Brussells that they squander on the EU |

Good luck to you fella. The country needs people like you who are willing to start their own business. You're to be applauded. See your current situation as just one of the challenges along the way and most importantly.....stay positive! |

Just remember do not actually start any work before you are enrolled on NEA.
The government want as many as possible to move from JSA to NEA so you will no find too many obstacles put in your way as long as you do the preparation. The planning course is useful. Don't be afraid to ask questions when you are there, many of the other people on the course will have a lot of knowledge they are happy to share. |
