It was bound to happen sooner or later but I was eating a prawn salad I made from an Asda bag of King Prawns. They didn't taste great, smelled a little fishier than usual and one or two had a few spots of discolouration but the date was fine and the texture seemed fine.
Then I found one at the bottom with some kind of grey/black lump/tumour in it that was oozing grey slime.
So despite having spotted that before experiencing that unimaginably horrid taste explosion as I bit into said black lump, I may very well be poisoned anyway from cross-contamination of some sort.
Was lovely knowing you all and please try to remember me as a misunderstood but kindly soul and not one that got done in by a prawn.  |

Thanks Steve, what worries me is that I'm not ill yet. I was up all last night throwing up because of my medical condition so I'm pretty much completely at its mercy if its going to happen. |

i never eat sea food if it smells or tastes too fishy .once bitten by the fishy trots and vomiting twice shy.if its fresh it won't smell and won't Taste fishy just like a nice fresh pussy .poppyxx  |

Thanks, I know that camphylobacter can be fatal too. I couldnt throw up. I have a hernia, gastritis and barretts oesophagus and I was actually awake all last night coughing up vomit i'd breathed in my sleep and then puking the rest of my guts up as a result. So I'm all puked out, pretty sore and just waiting for death lol actually I might go for a late stroll and see if the night air relaxes me a bit. |
