Les is not a well girl and has been in bed all day
Thing is last valantines day we were apart as well so we were gonna make up for it this year
Bloody typical oh well theres always next year lol xx  |

Well, craigy i shall make you feel better. A few years ago on valentines's day a guy i had been seeing for a couple of years we split up on valentine's day and 16 years tomorrow my ex husband walked out on me leaving behind the flowers he bought me. There bet your sorry you started this thread now pmsl.

You don't need Valentines day to show your appreciation for your lovely lady 
In fact, it's far more romantic if you do whatever you would do today on a random day.
Say nothing, get her a small box of chocs and a card, for today.
Then spoil her rotten when she least expects it. |

14 Feb really is no different to any other day, if one truly love another person!

Why dont you choose a day in a week or so when les is better and have your own valentines day then, or why not spend the rest of the day making her a homemade get well card, bet she would love that |

you could have my valentines day - no cards and having to chapone a 5 year olds party, tkaing kids round to do a treasure hunt in a fire station

ah poor lesley
but today was quite poignant for me also. we buried shirley today. full name shirley valentine a lop eared rabbit. it would have been her first birthday today. i bought her last year and my neice ended up looking after her. think she killed her with kindness. devoted all her love to this rabbit. bought shirley blueberry popcorn and rabbit shampoo for her birthday. decided to shower her last night so she would be nice and fresh for her coming birthday celebrations. poor shirley went into shock from the shower. my neice wrapped her in towels to try on advice of the vet, but the poor thing died. she was absolutely devastated today.
good job it wasnt rabbit stew on the lunch time menu today wasnt it  |
