"not looking forward to waking up on my own again this year,much as i didnt want to last year ,last xmas went to bed and had chest pains so nearly got up and dialled 999 just so i could go into hospital and not have to wake up xmas day alone  "
Why don't you volunteer at a homeless shelter or something I can tell you it gives you the most amazing feelings....there are many worse off!! |

This Xmas I'm single so I'm doing a bit of reconnaissance on who to fuck at the work Xmas party! 
I prefer Xmas eve than xmas day itself.

I don't care. All those with relatives are stressed because of farty Auntie Flo or 'orrible cousin Bernard who always tells the same crap jokes, and I am nicely tucked away in my own cottage with good music and a good book and lots of Schadenfreude.
But then - last year I hadn't yet discovered this site, so who knows - would be a pleasant change to have delicious company.

I saw in Asda christmas cakes, mince pies. I have heard Harrods Christmas dept. Has been open since july but that is a rumour.
Only downside is can we stop Minxie from her Christmas carol singing practice?? |

I've heard a rumour that as part of government cutbacks, Christmas is to be cancelled this year. There will be a new act, 'The Christmas Celebration Offences Act 2013'. This will be debated next week in the House of Commons, which is decorated with bunting and a very large Christmas tree, in preparation. |
