Could be worse could be your shit. Serious dog poo has nutrients in it check what food your dog has and perhaps change it. Could be dog version of diabetes play safe get checked out. |

It's just a guess but I'd say it's some kind of deficiency in her diet. Interestingly my spaniel also had bakers complete then suddenly refused to eat any of it.  |

she is feeling insecure about something and removing any trace she was there.. other dogs or threats as your dog see's it can tell a dogs health and size by its mess. Maybe a fox or something your dog doesnt like the smell of has been in your garden so shes just protecting herself x |

Take it to vet they will give you tablets that make the poo taste horrid .. only works on their own poo not others of course.. other option is to put on a baskerville muzzle and clear it up then take off the muzzle.Its just something they do.. ewww nasty..  |

Most dogs get in the habit of doing this after having a litter or phantom pregnancy. As for bakers it's full of additives you can buy dry dog food for working dogs that has no addidtives in them x |

the phantom pregnancy thing also links in with her first season finishing (which is when this started).
she is not a working dog yet but she gets loads of exercise, we run her for miles, she swims alot in the lake too, cant seem to tire her out lol.
must find which food has no additives. |

Bakers is like feeding a dog a big mac and fries every day. Its carp. And most of its being left undigested so it makes the poo more "tasty ". Like feeding the dog twice
Change to a decent feed. Burns is readily availible and is a good start. Arden grange is fantastic if you can find it
Do a gradual change over and pick up poo as soon as your dog goes. You are looking for your dog to be doing small dense poo which is only pure waste material |

its usually because dog poop, human poop, cat poop fox poop etc has some nutritional value !!! Dogs just don't see it as shit lol, even if they just passed it.
However in some case it can be due to illness. |

It's called coprophagia and is common in all animals. Shit is very high in vitamin k, something that is necessary for blood clotting.
Interestingly enough, fowl have short legs because their intestinal tract is also very short and vitamin k is manufactured in the gut from bacteria. Their short legs mean they have to feed from the ground and replenish their stores by eating little bits of shit. Clever eh. |
