So I decided to wear some really nice shoes today after some crappy news to cheer myself up! It worked until I fell over, split the knee of my work trousers open and split my knee open. That was all good until I realised that my ankle really really hurts. I've got ice on it and it may be swelling a touch!
I am NOT going to hospital! |

I'm all dosed up on NSAIDs already! Paracetamol I can take in 2 hours as I needed them earlier! Ice and ankle up is done! Don't think its broken, it just flipping hurts! |

If you find that its still painful in a few hours then I would suggest a trip to your nearest NHS walk-in centre, much quicker than A&E but there may not be a radiographer on duty after 18:00. But they can at least assess you better that a pervert on a sex site!....lol    |

Why let a sprained ankle spoil any naughtiness?
It's not broken which is all good!!
I tore some ligaments in my right ankles years back!! Hurt like hell and was bruised and swollen for weeks.... Was still naughty though |

I don't trust the pair of you getting into the same bath or getting into your baths alone. It's a dilemma. I think you need to call someone before you get in the bath and keep the line open in case there are further accidents.

Because I'm a pain in the arse I'm already on NSAIDs and they are quite limited in the pain relief they can offer me. So I'm going for a stuff upper lip and what I'm already on! It bleeding hurts! |

i had a bad fall 2 xmass ago and hobbled round for 2 days, thinking id only sprained it
a nurse friend insisted i go to hospital
which i did and told i had broken my leg!!! out of action for 8 weeks, still not right now

I don't trust the pair of you getting into the same bath or getting into your baths alone. It's a dilemma. I think you need to call someone before you get in the bath and keep the line open in case there are further accidents.
My lovely neighbour is helping by walking Blake and grabbing me shopping. But I think asking her to help bath me may be a bit too much!
Give her the key and get her to check you haven't slipped and hit your noddle in the bath.

I am a gorp. A first class gorp. My new bed arrived and I decided that I was up for dismantling my old bed and building my new bed. Clearly this wasn't a good idea with a decked in ankle! |
