I need some information before I go looking for this and doing anything based on my experiences of changing the lightbulb in the oven ............ (some will know the story), lol

If I take the filter out does this cause a mess? is my first question and how easy is it to get everything back ???

On a Bosch it looks like a dishwasher filter without the mesh and you twist it out

On this model it's beneath the door and bottom right

You flip open the flap like a petrol flap, then unscrew the round thing like a petrol cap

My housekeeper informs me she takes the filter out and washes it every week, due to the fact we have dogs and horses, and the hair bungs it up.

what if I tiptoe to the kitchen and see if my model has the flappy thing first? and then come and report back? lol

The washing machine filter really stinks when you change it. I clean my dishwasher one more often, and give it a clean using the salt scrub as well.

Ah I found a clip that comes attached to new clothes and some clothe gunk! It smelt lush until it got towards the end and then it went a little eggy! I'm fair impressed with that little tip though! I'm surprised there weren't any socks or Kirby grips, I've nearly killed the Hoover on many occasions with them!!!
