Are you a considerate bed sharer? I have spent the last week sharing a bed with my mum (and her stupid dog!!!)
My mum us not a considerate bed sharer at all!!! She hogs the bed with her arms flung over her head. She snores (I dont  ) when she gets up in the night she is nit very quiet about it and her stupid dog virtually slept on my head!!!! |

I'm beginning to wonder if you are more annoyed with your mother or the stupid dog.
I'm a very considerate bed sharer unless I have had a drink and then I snore really loudly.
I put the Sleep Bot thingy on my tablet this week and I have discovered that I don't move around a lot and I don't really snore but I do cough a lot. That might annoy.

Someone mentioned the Sleep Bot thingy on a thread earlier this week. I have always been worried about my snoring and my sleep talking. I have to test whether it is linked to alcohol (I don't normally share unless I've had a drink or several). In my own bed, with my own pillows I only snore (snuffly snores) a bit as I go into the last deep sleep before I wake up. Fascinating.

Haha , a friend of mine has got the sleep app and the stuff he talks about in his sleep is funny lol , I been told I stroll around when I go to bed !! But hay I don't have a clue what goes on because I live on my own lol |

I have similar with the deep sleep. Seems an average 8 hrs normal sleep person have three periods of deep sleep at night! I grind my teeth badly and move only a little, although some nights it looks like I actually wake up which I don't recall! It's interesting analysing it |

I am not a considerate bed sharer at all. I sleep in the middle of the bed, hog the duvet, snore, talk and fidget. If I do get up during the night I normally stand on something and end up shouting and swearing.
God knows how the mrs gets a good nights sleep.

I'm really enjoying the analysing bit. I don't sleep for more than four hours in total and the longest stretch is 2 hours. The coughing wakes me up but I didn't know it was the coughing as I don't have a cough during the day. Whenever I wake up I go to the loo and then take a while to fall asleep again. No wonder I wake up tired.

I like having the bed to myself and tend to use every last inch of it over the course of the night. That said, I haven't had any complaints when sharing with someone so I think I manage to keep to my own side if there's someone else in bed with me. Also, sometimes it's nice to have someone to cuddle as you go to sleep and wake up. |

I like we'll behaved dogs that are treated like dogs. Not pampered pooches who are allowed to bark at 6 o'clock in the morning because she is mummy's little baby  |

That is nice but then if they make me hot then I spend my night trying to get to a cool bit of bed. The last person I spent a night with managed to have me hanging off the edge of the bed and his side was empty.

Only shared a bed twice in 20 years and it wasnt mine so I probably clung to the edge cos i was on the wrong side.
He said i didnt snore but suspect he was being polite..  
In my bed I tend to just spread out or curl up ..flap the covers and generally restless.. no one there to care  |
