I believe that if on our death beds we wrote two lists. One of all the good fortune we have had and one of all the bad they would counterbalance each other. Its the fact that its not an even life but a rollercoaster (Well mine is) that some choose to look more at the misfortunes |

I think we all have a hand in our good and bad fortune but that hand isn't always strong enough to control everything that happens.
You can't control a tornado hitting your house but you can decide not to live in tornado alley.
Lots of people I have met claim their hard work and control on their life for the good things but don't see bad luck in that way.
