"Strange how music affects us all.
"
I am rather passionate about music, music can help mould my mood, and my mood can often be shown by the music I choose to listen to at any given time.
There are some songs that can instantly draw a tear from my eyes, they are songs that bring back personal memories that aren't so good. |

Music has no impact on me, I have little or no interest in music, if I had to listen to the radio etc I'd rather listen to a talk show, debate, or sports station.
However I do get emotional when I listen to my daughter play first violin in her orchestra, not because of the music but because I know how hard she worked to get there and how proud she (and us ) is of her achievement.
I suppose its never the music alone, its what the music means to each of us. |

Its all to do with memories, be it good ones or bad ones .
Musically, mine tend to bring heartache back ...mind wise.
which is why i dont tend to listen to the ones that do it.
Every now and then is ok |

"No memories for me....old tige just a sad fecking song....and with gentleman Jim singing it....i don't stand a chance "
Kates Dad was a big Jim Reeves fan. We had Distant Drums played at his funeral. When my Dad died we had Lara's theme from Dr Zivargo played. Mom died later, and we played it for her too.
Both those tunes are special now. |
