Did anyone spot Ed Miliband being the one to sound sensible and prime ministerial over Syria?
It's ten years since the invasion of Iraq. Have we gleaned anything from that experience?
Did Cameron see Syria as his chance to look good in a war situation? Even when a "dossier" was mentioned? |

God knows what that imbecile Cameron thought he was doing wanting to intervene. I notice that B.Liar is saying that we should bomb them. I even agreed with Clare Short yesterday when she said that she was suspicious of Cameron wanting to go to war before the UN can even compile their report.
Nigel Farage spot on when he said that we should stay out & not get involved in other peoples wars. Let Allah decide what happens in Syria. |

Someone seems to have had a word in Millibands ear as 2 days ago his tone was not that dissimilar to Camerons..
only yesterday he came out with the 'we should wait line'..
which I think is the only correct option..
then we do what exactly..?
cant hit Assad's remaining stockpile of 'nasties'..
degrade his infrastructure perhaps..
then wait for his reaction which will come I suggest..
the whole thing looks not right, Assad's regime if they did authorise the chemical attack is at one of the strongest positions they have been in for the last 2 years..
why use them now..?
and with the UN in town..?
he has the rebels on the run, Hezbollah helped to tip the scales when they got involved..
'Intelligence', yeh right where have we heard that before..
and the almost obscene position whereby its 'morally wrong and a red line' to use chemicals which have killed far less than conventional ordnance..
big naughty can of worms may be about to be opened..

I'd rather see all the military back home. And maybe when Britain is in a good place, eg, strong economy, low unemployment rate, no home grown terrorists etc, then we can start looking at helping everyone else |
