I'm with them for the phone and broadband, they're ok but their mail server plays up a fair bit, wouldn't want to put all my eggs in one basket though, too much chance of breakage |

If you go with them pray you don't have to call their call centre
I get so mad I put the phone down nearly every time I have to call them.
' What is your problem' so I tell them ... ' Im sorry I do not understand what is your problem'
Frustration
Some others may have better stories though |

"anyone with them for broadband/telly/phone? thinking of switching just wanted to see if I could get any feedback from someone already with them xx"
I know quite a few people who have had connection problems and internet stability after that. Customer service isn't the best either but they do apparently do some good deals. |

Don't think I've ever heard a good word said about talk talk, but speak to them once and they will take over your line without you even knowing it. Then try to get it back off them! |

I can not have sky due to location of my house. I am looking for tv/broadband/landline combo. Talktalk was attractive as cheaper than what I am paying now with virgin mostly because of the long distance plan ( as I call mum or sis in Canada every other day)which is more expensive with virgin and works out to be about £20 cheaper a month with talktalk...but if it is going to be more hassle than anything else might as well stay with them |

DON'T in my experience, My mother is elderly and lives alone, she was with TalkTalk and 4 times this year her phone didn't work, each time took 3 - 4 weeks and dozens of calls to get it fixed. Usually customer service take all the details then do nothing. She is no longer with them. |

I was with Talk Talk for years and only had positive experiences with them. They're considerably cheaper than BT, their customer services were much better than BT and I was generally happy all round with their service.
The only reason I changed was because I wanted faster broadband and Virgin fibre optic was the only faster alternative... |

Talk Talk can be a bloody nightmare. We have had many issues in the past. Even though we have the "super fast" fibre optic, we don't find it any faster or better than the old set up we had. In fact, I think it has been slower ! |

I'm with talktalk for broadband and phone.... No problem.... I took them up on the offer of the free tv box thing. That works well too. I have Sky so only use the talktalk box in one room but its good. I've also just switched my mobile service to them as well. So far so good. |

Glad you're not going with talktalk. Customer service is the worst one I have ever experienced. |

In all fairness to Talk Talk that's a BT problem as they own and maintain the lines but Talk Talk should have been aware of the problem and not charged line rental, that being said BT would still have been charging them for using their exchange... |

My only problem with Virgin is their way of billing. I pay online rather than direct debit as it suits me better but they send me a bill via email and if I don't pay withing 12hrs they cut me off!
Kind of annoying when I receive the email at work and come home after a long shift to find no phone, tv or internet! |

Don't do it! Talk talk are awful, the service is shockingly poor and their customer service is worse.
I'm with sky and they are actually pretty good and the service is very very stable with no issues since the day it cutover from talk talk which had constant outages for 3 years prior to that. |

Talk Talk have very good deals, and you'll plenty people happy with them.
But......you'll find plenty more folk without a good word to say about them, and they regularly come top of the list for being the worst when it comes to customer service.
I personally wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. |

Sticking with virgin, going to get a Skype phone and cancel the long distance bit of my plan. One of the things I did not like about the talktalk Telly bit was you could only record the freeview channels, not any of the extra channels like sky or living channels...thanks again for all the feedback here and in pms xx |

Worst ever customer service, worst ever Internet providers, the TV channels are crap, roll on feb 2014 when we can leave cos they telling us if we want to cancel before then we have to pay a contract wreckage fee of £300!!!
But yeah worst ever company leavi g us with no Internet for 3 months !!! Avoid big time!!
Just a quick thought anyone know if legally we'd have to pay a contract wreckage fee??
Our 18 month contract is up in feb, much rather leave before then!!!! |

I used them as long as you have no problems they are fine.
Have a problem and they shit. lie to you never call you. If you get to the UK call centre they are fine and do talk to you and even do not lie to you. I not had a problem on my bill yet. There was a problem on my line. But they would not pay to have it fix as it was in the box up the road from me. After going over to fiber and getting 20meg to 30 meg i not had a any issues at all with them .

At my house I've had sky & Virgin. Both are good but prefer Virgin.
I have a property & I provide broadband for my Polak Tenants.
I decided to get talktalk. The daythey were supposed to fit the broadband, they rang me from a field five miles away. So I had to re-appoint. A month later they called me me to ask where the property was, they were in the same field 5 miles away. So I sacked them for being fuckwits. Then I made a fatal mistake. I got BT to do it. THEY ARE SHIT. advertised the price at £17.50 but I am paying well over £50 per month because they are lying cheating bastards. I am contracted to them for another year & they really take the piss. Never ever get BT they are utter scum. Expensive scum at that. |
