Anyone else sent message/text to wrong person. I just have sent a rather explicit text not to my fb as intended but my daughter not good as now the questions have started.

Yes I have. It was a picture of me in a precarious position lol.
It was on what's app. I'd messaged someone then received a message from someone else then when I went to send the picture to reply to a certain lady I sent it to the wrong person

Whatsapp has a lot to answer for. I sent some pics with a little message when I was pissed I hit the wrong person and instead of getting a booty call I got a message filled with laughter from my someone who shouldn't see those type of pics. |

I've done it - message to fb went to ex husband instead -oops
I now store all my naughty contacts with an xx in front of there name so they are all together and I don't have any friends with x starting their name!! |

Yes I once ment to send the wife a message with rather explicit sexual details in it, infact very explicit and sordid sexual content, and sent it to my sister, we only send pics by kik and only have each other on there so that's safe |

Two separate phones so the three messages I have inadvertently sent to the wrong people weren't too compromising.
They weren't rude either, just the I'm almost with you or I'm running late type messages. Why do I keep meeting people with the same names?

I sent one to my mother by mistake. Thankfully she hardly ever has her phone to hand. I very quickly rang my brother who lives at home and asked him to retrieve moms phone and delete message which he did! |

OMG, that would cause a mother of a storm if I had sent an explicit message to one of my daughters in error...my girls are still young so the ex would defo not see the funny side of it one bit.
I have sent a message to my mum in error that contained a lot of swearing in it....she wasnt too pleased. lol |

Matt once sent a very explicit text message to me so he thought. When checked it was his daughter. Lucky she was at work and couldn't check her phone... He drove to her work place and asked her for the phone and deleted it. I only found out a few years later... now she says she hopes her husband will send her rude messages when they have been together as long  |

I once sent a d*unken, and rather suggestive, text to a guy I was seeing. His name was Darren. Dad was just above Darren in my phone book. MAHOOSIVE OOOOOOPPPPPS!

Thankfully I've never had anything really bad happen but I've had a few near misses!
First was answering my phone with "Hello Gorgeous" because I'd been talking about my boyfriend as the phone rang.
Years later I text my Dad by accident asking if "you've had a good night sweetie?" then proceeded to slag our mates off. My Dad was d*unk and had been with the same mates as me, and agreed with what I was saying but didn't realise I'd called him sweetie because of the drink!
The time my heart stopped and I've never felt so sick in my life was last year. The guy I was seeing had just got a new-to-him phone that used to be his (12yo) daughters, so he didn't have any pictures of me on it. We decided to bluetooth some over but it didn't work. Then we realised, the phone I was sending it to was HER name!
Thankfully it was just a fault with the connection and it WAS his phone, he just hadn't changed the name.
Thinking I was sending it to her by accident was a horrible feeling, especially considering the job I do! Definitely learnt from that mistake! |
