think its really sad in lots of ways both interms of how influential he was in fashion and most on here haven't heard of him - shame as his work was inspirational and we have few truly inspirational brits getting worldwide acclaim - and obviously a suicide is always very very sad for those around him. What sort of society do we have where people that either produce plastic tatt or are themselves plastic tatt (i.e. Alan Sugar and Jordan) are more famous than those who produce inspirational quality are never heard of. My son's best friend wears many pieces designed by the man, all very classically tailored. Which was where he started his career, in gents tailoring. xxx |
