So after logging on this morning and seeing 3 threads about timewasters, one of which has a named profile on it that will shortly be removed, I feel moved to say the following (after a request in my last rant thread this one comes with extra disdain).......
There seems to be a section of muppets on this site who have a track record of having their time wasted, then bitching about it like it's anyone's fault but their own. The implication seems to be that it's the site admins job to police which random dirty bastard you invite round to stick his or her bits in you or on you.
Its a free site, anyone can join. So that means any simpleton with access to the internet can get on and create a profile and have access to thousands of pictures and webcam images of YOU instantly. Enough to keep his or her spank bank balance full for a lifetime. Fuck even your kids could be on here as chances are they are more media savvy than you anyway.
So given the fact that it could be anyone on here why do people insist on inviting these losers into their homes? Often without seeing a pic or hearing a voice? Surely no-one can be that desperate for physical contact? At least if you go out and pull for a one night stand you actually get to meet and talk to the person before doing the deed.
After these idiots send out all their contact details to a complete stranger, or as one guy on here did, arrange to meet a woman outdoors somewhere who turned out to be a man that tried to rob him, or a fake couple in my area who got 10 guys to turn up at a dogging spot and sit round looking like dickheads, they then pitch up in the forums and whinge like little bitches about the amount of timewasters on site and like today have a crack at naming and shaming or demand that it be allowed.
News for you people....the only timewasters are yourselves. You wasted your own time A: conversing with unverified, unpictured and/or blank profiles. B: not doing basic things like at the very least talking on a phone, but at best meeting for a coffee.
News for you, if someone isn't going to meet you socially to see if you get on they are either nothing like their pictures, cheating and shit scared of being caught, timid generally and unlikely to turn up for a sex meet anyway or just an ignorant bastard who wants the sex but doesn't want to do any work for it.
Just sort your fucking selection processes out and you'll have a much better time. And those people suggesting we spend time looking at local profiles and reporting ones we think are fake, IF YOU CAN SPOT FAKES THAT EASILY WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU WHINGING ABOUT THEM! JUST AVOID CONTACT WITH THEM!
But its the name and shame brigade that get right on my jabber. If you really can't see how open to abuse that system would be then I cannot wait for the whinges from you when you don't turn up for a meet one day because of family problems, and you get a site time out. Can I PLEEEEASE be the site admin reaponsible for dealing with those whiny bitches.

I agree with your sentiments though. Personally I don't understand the mindset of inviting people into your home if you're a single woman and/or have dependants (even if not there at the time). Having said that I appreciate it is personal choice. |

I arranged to meet what looked like a beautiful person that described herself as a T girl. I assumed that was why she refused my offer of a social meet over a coffee.
I drove to the secluded carpark and a big bruiser of a man tried to get in the car.
I tried reporting but everyone laughed at me. Something should be done! |

I agree up to the point about being a single woman with dependants.
I'm a single mom with a child. I dont meet guys at my home when my child is here, only when I have arranged a sitter. Where do you suggest I meet them? |

Anyway no, if you cannot be bothered to find someone to meet based on reasonable selection criteria, rather than getting all excited about the first person that replies to you, then you deserve to have your time wasted.
Everyone is going to be let down at some point, because shit happens. But if you are let down again and again then the problem is your selection process. It most certainly isn't the site's fault! |
