Im an adult but id feel uncomfortable if my parents visited me and i knew they were shagging in my spare room..
Id like to think its about mutual respect.

How did you discover yourself before you left home?
I don't think it's disrespectful if you are considerate. Screaming the house down, banging on the walls, soaking the bed would all be out for me but lovemaking with a partner they know would be fine.

Mountains and molehills it is. Every older sibling will for sure have had parents who had sex in the house while they are in it. I think some people are repressed and introverted while many others think nothing off it but its the same with parents and offspring who can talk with each other rather than repressing certain subjects. Its one of the reasons so many get pregnant at a young age not discussing things and being open with parents but that's a whole other thread. |

I rarely experimented with myself. Never had a boyfriend or did sexual things with a boy/man when i was growing up at their house. Sex outdoors was the only way i had encounters (or at their place)

Funny thing is, me and my mum are very open about sexual issues. She knows im on here (not details etc).. i know that she too is open minded and enjoyed group fun in the past etc..
Im not sure where my mentality has come from in regards to feeling uncomfortable about doing sexual activities in her home has come from.

We have four kids living at home three of whom reglarly have boy/girlfriends staying over so we are used to multiple sexual activity around our house, no problem to us... Of course if they knew what we got up to they may not feel the same lol! |

There is a difference between a not left home yet teen playing behind closed doors in the family home
And an adult who has moved out returning to visit and playing,

Secondly some people might say its disrespectful (maybe that's because its going against the owner of the houses wishes) and lastly someone should be allowed to walk around their own house with thinking "are they doing that in there". Not a nice image to have of a relative. |

You know, I'd be much more worried about someone farting in my spare bed than having sex. As long as they clean up any mess, don't keep me awake and cover up before leaving the room then whether it's my sister and her husband, my parents or my cousins they can get on with it.
