A Canadian dentist is hoping to clone John Lennon using DNA from one of the singer's teeth. Michael Zuk, who bought Lennon's molar at a 2011 auction, has begun sequencing the former Beatle's DNA
What I can’t get round is this morally right as surely only Lennons family have the right to sanction a clone or is possession of the DNA enough to give you the right to do it? |

It's a taboo subject for sure. Bad enough if they started to clone regular people that had been murdered. Now somebody wants to own a clone of a murdered Beatle. Does he want a fucking record label contract as well? |

I wouldn't be surprised if they do actually manage to clone him that some record company would offer a contract before they know if he can sing/play/compose or not. |

so bringing back Lennon will make the clone the same person? Nope. Different influences, environment. He probably won't even make music. Unless he's kept in an underground bunker and made to. |
