Well not really. Not wanting to upset anyone, just a general question for the room.
Are ppl who only cam and not meet classed as swingers??

i used to cam alot with people - but i also meet people 
have been put off camming recently as i feel that some guys use it as a free porn service, expecting me to be playing whenever i am online - even at haf eight in the morning ffs.
so now i dont cam and have a lot more time for meets  |

I would say no, not unless they meet.
We have tried most things before we started meeting people, including camming, but we wouldn't have said we were swingers if you go on cam to play.
Mind you we got told we were not swingers anyway as we don't play with couples, so we don't call ourselves anything and just say yes we play with others |

Is this a trick question? Only reason I ask is that swinging is a state of mind, call it a lifestyle if you wish, or, as some would say just another label, it’s certainly not swinging to us, but then again neither is half the stuff that goes on in here, if they wanna call it swinging then let them, just move onto someone who fits into your definition of swinging. |

I say yes but in a very diluted format, swinging is no longer what it's first label said it was.
The first interpretation of swinging was one couple swapping with another.
Nowadays we are not really swingers, we are lifestylers.
Swingers play with only single men
Swingers play with only single females
Swingers play with couples
Swingers only watch as voyeurs
Swingers only like to be watched as exhibitionists
Swingers like bukake
Swingers like gangbangs
Swingers like BDSM without sexual intercourse
Swingers like to go to clubs and not play but socialise with other swingers
It's just a label which in the 21st century has expanded it's criteria.
Many people start out as swingers doing only very mild things and then move on to meets, swapping and more. |

You can't really call yourself a swinger if you haven't tried it. Are you a murderer if you only think about doing it? Not in my opinion, but then again, I think you are only a swinger if you swap partners.

If they meet after a cam-cam session then imho they would be classed as swingers, but if they only do cam-cam and never meet, then they cannot be classed as swingers, maybe they'd be classed as voyeurs or something along those lines ?  |

Not sure what we are, but adopting the label 'swingers' has allowed us to contact people who share our lifestyle views and if sometimes our sexlives! There are so many variants through soft, full swap, bdsm etc that one label can't cover them all..
