What does it mean when people put Amp on their profile ??. Ive just noticed its on my joint profile with Daisy and have no idea what it means!

Actually it is derived from "And per se and..."

It was the only carachter that the copyists, monks/ typesetters were allowed free reign to decorate the living daylights out of....

Perhaps we need a few mire threads to cover this fully...

I knew what Ampersand meant but didn't associate the two - silly me. Not seen any threads about it.
