Last train from London Victoria, was meant to get off at Bromley South.....fell asleep and woke up three stops outside of Dover Priory.
Had to get special permission to come back up on the mail train....sitting on a rock hard wooden seat. |

Supposed to be going from Plymouth to Newcastle with one change after one stop. Fell asleep and woke up in Cardiff. Ended up going from Cardiff to Crewe to York, dosed off between Crewe and York but woke in time. Then fell asleep in the waiting room at York and either lost or had ticket nicked before finally getting the train from York to Newcastle. Just in time to get on the ship before it sailed. Had to go straight on watch when I joined the ship. Journey from hell and the last time I spent 3 nights without sleep raving and partying before leaving for work.  |

on leave from the army fell asleep on way back to cattarick woke up on the boarder of scotland by the ticket man still half asleep got of not thinking or knowing wot has just happened after a quick rub of the eyes shit this aint my station rang my sgt who sent the landrover out for me got six weeks gaurd duty for that  |

Several times. Although the time I once ended up in Crewe rather than Milton Keynes I was both awake and sober...
We live 20 minutes out of London and regularly catch the first train home after a night out, falling asleep on that could see us an awful long way from home! |

I've never done it, but a guy I worked with donkeys years ago did. Got on a train to Bexleyheath from London at about 6pm after an afternoon having a 'few' bevvies with his old workmates.
He was woken up at 4am by a cleaner in Slade Green marshalling yard, after spending the night going up and down between Gillingham and Charing Cross. Could do it in those days as we still had the old single-compartment, 'slam-door' carriages so he must have slumped onto the seat and no one noticed him

yeah ended up in plymouth when i should have got off at new street
and ended up in euston when was going to milton keynes
and stoke on trent when going to stafford

Travelling back to Newcastle from Aberdeen following an offshore stint I was accompanied by some crew mates who also were also expecting to alight the train in Newcastle,,,,
But some of our party were using the journey time to replenish their blood/alcohol state to a near toxic level which resulted a couple of them falling soundly asleep before we even crossed the border from Scotland to England …..
So as you do in situations like that…..
The rest of us carefully removed their shoes, which accidentally fell out the window and then made signs saying “please wake at Kings-Cross” which we hung around their necks before hiding their luggage in another carriage,,…..
We got off the train in Newcastle and left our sleeping crewmates to the mercy of the other passengers,,,,

Yes: and I knew something was wrong as my journey was only 25 minutes and I was dead tired before I got on the train.
I went to my doctor as I was literally falling asleep standing up! Went for the blood test on the Friday morning, 8pm doctor called telling me to get to Kings as my blood test showed my haemoglobin was 6 and I needed a blood transfusion.
He was amazed I was still alive, but hey, the devil takes care of his own! |

After a munch a couple of years ago, I was so d*unk and tired I fell asleep on my train home. Should have got off at Doncaster to get the connecting train to Scunthorpe. Was woken by a train cleaner in Edinburgh!!!! |

Got hammered at the cricket in london a few years back. Fell asleep in the train and woke up in Birmingham. I was still really d*unk, so instead if getting the train back I walked out of the station and got a cab home. £250 (plus tip)!!! And that is not my most expensive cab fare (but that's another falling asleep story). |

Fell asleap on the bus and woke up and got off walked the 5 mins and when I got to the front door my ex was just coming out and said "everything ok " it was then I realised I didn't live there any more and ended up giving here 20 quid for my daughter to save my embarrassment lol |

I use the bus a fair bit. Have dozed off on the train but luckily im usually with my mum. I fall asleep in the car after a hour, can sleep anytime anywhere, nothing will wake me  |

Yeah I got hypothermia and passed out on a bus for two hours. Luckily it was long distance, but unluckily, the guy whose shoulder I fell asleep on and drooled and snored on was petrified when I woke up hahaha |
