Just seen another few profiles from couples !! who say they arefed up with single guys ! Who dont turn up ? WHY do they do that and give us fellas a bad name ? |

some get cold feet at the last minute just like couples.
Some are forced to cancel by unforseen circumstances and sometimes even with enough notice thier cancellation is not accepted in the right way
Some are forced to cancel and cannot give adequate notice
Some think that they dont need to cancel and just show bad manners by not turning up
Some are pure malicious timewasters
and don't be fooled
Just as many couples and single females are guilty or prone to the same thing |

It happens all the time, to everyone by everyone - just part and parcel of all this malarky! Have a back up plan I say. I learned a long time ago via Girl Guides that it's always best to be prepared ..
actually it might have been the Boys Brigade  but anyhoo, you get the gist  |

are you asking why single men dont turn up or why couples put that they are fed up of single guys not turning up???
Why do single men not turn up?? dunno, never happened to me yet - sure its just a matter of time.
Why do couples put it on their profile?? probably because they have gone to some effort to be free for the evening asnd to be let down last minute can be very annoying - not always do they have the opportunity replace |

I think you single guys should set up a database of who is available, where & when. Then it can be accessed by couples/single fems to select an alternative if their first choice don't show up. Sort of like a Best Man situation, or even a Second, like in the old days of duelling (which incidentally, is where the term' seconds out' in boxing comes from, the Second had to leave the duelling area so as not to interfere, unless the combatant he is 2nd to withdrew through cowardice)....
Anyway, if you single guys nominate a '2nd' then the couples will probably know that you're genuine enough coz you actually have a 2nd and then we should see an end to single guy timewasting posts. Simples. |
