What do you drink at a meet?

Jump to: Newest in thread

east london

I was wondering what people drink when meeting, and do you find what the people you are meeting, are drinking, important?

Some go for a touch of Dutch Courage, but at parties but I have seen a few get paralytic, not often fortunately.

By preference I start with a Relentless and keep the caffeine buzz topped up all night LOL

You?

Kate drinks red wine, I drink orange fanta Got pissed on our first ever meet and watched a bloke shag Kate on his own for 3 hours, while I sat on the couch with his wife. Lesson learned

Depends whether I'm driving or not but I'd never get d*unk regardless.

If it was mainly a social meet and then I was going to be driving home I'd have one glass of white wine at the most.

At a party, as we usually host and therefore I don't have to be driving I'll have one or two of whatever's going... just to heighten the excitement and then I'll switch to water or coffee.

Depends with me - Zoe - i like a glass of wine but not too much! Steve usually drives so has nothing alcoholic and if we meet at home he has very little - Z

Usually Famous Grouse (or whatever whisky that is available) and lots of lemonade, alternate with J2O or something similar, so that I do not get too rat arsed to have fun!

I don’t mind the odd drink but find if a man has had a few he gets less respectful and ruff so would much rather meet a man who has only a drink or two.

I don't tend to drink alcohol, like to keep my wits about me, so anything alcohol free really, a cordial, or coffee.

I don't smoke, and very rarely drink, however, you spend one night with me and you will soon find I am far from boring.

I have quite a few wii games, fifa 10, and Ben 10 whilst we're on numbers, wall e too.

I could show you the sights, stroll down the river, or canal, a walk around the boating lake, or local farm.

would even treat you to a domino's pizza.

generally i dont drink when meeting people as i tend to drive and dont have my own chauffer

occasionally someone will bring a bottle of wine with them so will have a glass out of politeness but as i am not a wine type of gal i have to take it easy...

Why numb your seances when your meeting someone for the first or second time? socials are one thing but for me i choose not to.

I used to drink way too much. party animal kinda thing, was out nearly every night at one stage for months on end, began to realise I was doing it a little too often, and so took time out, changed a few things, and started to go to gigs and festivals instead, when my partner was pregnant I cut it out altogether as I thought it fair, she didn't drink much but quit what she did along with smoking, then little un came along and I've rarely touched a drop, unless I am away from little un, then that may well be a different tale.

Moderation in all things...

though when me and some old friends get together...its a different tale.

We let our hair down and have a great time. But normally when at each others homes. and not out and about. safer and more dignified.

O o O oo

We would normally meet at a pub and as we don't normally drink we may have one to be sociable.......but it isn't worth me drinking anymore as I would fall asleep

Personally having seen other swingers get so off their face they don't know half of what they are doing....I make my meets alcohol free, that way I am totally in control of my thoughts and actions.

I don't drink, but I went to a meet recently and my date 'fuelled-up' on a cocktail of Bacardi and Red Bull. She stared in the car on the way and then she just kept Going..Going...Going...Going...Going! (and I don't just mean the drinking) There way no way I keep up (and I'm not really a party guy anyway) so I had to gracefully step aside and let nature take it's course.
