Bucks

For the last few days we've been clearly hearing the woman next door pulling tape off a roll (to seal the boxes of her stuff as (according to the estate agents sign by the gate) shes sold up) ...

but if we can hear that then no wonder she's sold up as sarah must make more noise when we're in the throws of passion than a roll of duct tape being pulled

Easy answer, to cut down the noise, don't go out leaving Sarah in alone so often, lol.

I know how you both feel.

When we moved in we were told the guy downstairs liked to play music on a set of DJ decks and doesnt like to use headphones The floor in the box room vibrates its that bad

Then one night hubby and I were busy doing what we do alone in our bedroom and him downstairs decided since he wasnt getting any neither were we and started banging on the ceiling, and shouting stuff

My answer rattle the bedframe more then swap rooms with the oldest kid so he now gets woken up at 6:30am when the kids decide to play on the dance mat

Now that is a very respectable "dont get mad get even" solution, respect

That wasnt as bad as when he decided to have a party one Sunday night, and it was still going on at 1am.

I went thru the box room (where my youngest was trying to sleep) and jumped up and down on the floor a few times, and when he shouted about me scratching his stuff I screamed "well I have a 5 year old trying to sleep up here" strangely it went all quite and he said sorry the next day he also told me I had caused a picture to fall off the wall and land on his decks causing damage, but on the plus side he no longer has parties on a Sunday night when my kids have school the next day

Jim do you wanna swap houses??

The numpty downstairs is selling up soon honest - well his mum says she is selling up so no more constant thump thump of his pants music.

When I was really really young we lived in an old farm cottage. The original part was always warm over the winter and cool over the summer cos the walls were that thick but the extention was freezing all year round cos this was before central heating and double glazing mind you I never had the flu or a bad cold til I was 12 and we moved into a house with central heating and double glazing
