ive had this discussion many times with different people...

do you all think theres a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone??

i agree

my attitude is i love my daughter but head over heels in love with my partner i also think they feel a hell of alot different too xx

but yet i find alot of people disagree my bampa used to tell me that if you cant tell the difference between being in love or loving someone then you have never truely fallen in love but that was his opinion xx

Yes of course.

Me and my sons mum don't get on for shit but I still love her as she gave me my boy

I was once in love with her but that went many years ago.

Yes a huge difference. You can love a lot of people but being in love with someone is a totally different thing.

Yes as to truly love someone you need to also be in love with them.

Also many people like the notion of being in love and think they are, when they are not.

I have never been in love but I can't imagine a stronger love than the love I feel for my daughter.

Yes, like others, my boys are my true loves. Unconditionally forever.

Being 'in love' is a gorgeous and totally satisfying feeling but like the song by Imagination, for me, it's always 'in and out of love' xxxx

There are 100 types of love, being in love is very different.

I love pizza, I love my horse, I love my hamster, I love my mum, I love me, etc etc

In my mind yes. Loving someone is a constant, unconditional, unavoidable state of mind. Being in love is something affected, almost governed by external influences - but my mind has been known to be wrong on occasions
