Evening folks, hope your all well.
I tend to use FAB on my iPad (hey I'm a poet) and in the new public pictures bit it always appears that folk seem to be uploading the same photo of themselves constantly. Do other people see this or is it a glitch for me? |

Lots of people use the latest photo gallery a lot to look for the latest photo's and people know this, so they just keep deleting photo's and uploading the same one's every day to get people to look at thier profile/s.
Some are even years old ....... pretty sad to be honest.
Eventually people just stop clicking on them ....... |

No different to sending people messages really, I re-upload pics to get more views, many will simply pass by but some will actually take the time to read my profile and say hello. Its not against site rules and is another way to get in contact with people. |

"why not just take new photo's?...... like tho Op said - it takes minutes (we know that - we have proved it)...... but each to thier own eh "
This !
Re-uploading old photos screams of laziness to me. if you've put it up once and it didn't get you the attention you sought - it possibly wasn't what people wanted to see. Photos should be posted because 'you' like them as much as you think others will too. And as has been said - would a shiny new, different and interesting picture not be far more productive than a repeat of an old shot, or a virtual identical copy of something you've done before? Show some individuality, creativity and original thought! Posting an old pic, a virtual carbon copy of an existing one, or a stereotypical shot that everyone else has, is hardly likely to produce a positive reaction.
One trick ponys tend to garner way less attention than those that put in a little thought! |
