I was like this, for years. I had trouble switching off, letting go of work etc.
Partly, I learned that without a good nights sleep, it made it much harder to deal with all those things I had to do and meant it was much harder to get those things done - its and easy concept but harder to put into practice but it does work. I highly recommend a technique called CBT to do this.
Secondly, I learned relaxation and mediation as a way of centering myself and allowing me to find a calm centre when it seems that there are too many spinning plates.
I'm not good to anyone without at least 6 to 7 hours of sleep. I keep telling myself that!! |
