I know there is this option when creating a profile but do you ever wish there was another option to state if you are straight/gay or bi sexual?
Ive been talking to a friend (not on fab) and he in day to day mode,, is only attracted to women, yet when in girlie mode is drawn to men..
Just wondered how many are gender specific straight, or bi/gay? |

When in male mode, it is ladies only.
When en femme, I'm happily very bi, but as I only meet or play when I'm dressed, having the bi option suits me, as I don't need to flick it between them.
I suppose if I set up a male profile, I'd set the option as hetero, as that does describe the non-dressed me.
Simple, eh? |

But if you did set a male profile as heterosexual then that would be wrong wouldn't it cause your bi ? |

I am bi when dressed, but not when I am in male mode. It's like get dressed up, flicks a switch. I have a feeling this is a point that could be debated back and forth for ever |

"Surely if you're bi you're bi. Regardless of what you are wearing?"
that was my logic too
but then i got all confused when my friend said he only found women attractive when as a man
but only men attractive when as a girl
so if the profile was set up as a TS.. then he would be only attracted to men (gay)
so women would be outta the question.

Someone in the fet scene taught me a very valuable lesson on Saturday. What the person self identifies as should be respected. Therefore if someone is TV and only bi when they are dressed then that is what others should treat them as.
Respecting self identification is very important. |

It doesn't work for you - it may work for other people. |
