I am going through a bit of a tough time at the mo ................. and some of you guys know what's happened ....... I just wanna say a big thank you to those that have been there when I really needed you from the 2.30 am phone calls to the messages of support xxxx

Thank you everyone .......... am trying to be really strong .......... just the eyes have decided they ain't playing ball today ....... and its just a waiting game at the mo xxx I will keep you all posted xxx |

Update:
Have just got back from the hospital, my mum is a lot better - survived the 50/50 24 hrs they gave her yesterday and is now on the mend .............. the stroke has left her weak on her left side (the hand and arm are at about 95%) the leg is not as good and she can't walk at the moment but she has surpassed all the doctors expectations at this stage .......... so thanks to everyone for your good wishes and hugs and kind thoughts ........... I really wouldnt have got through this alone xxx

This is good news my friend...fave food, rest and loved ones close to her will ensure she is holistically well taken care of, which is a sure path to prompt recovery xxxx she seems to be a fighter....you've inherited that from her  and massive hugs xxxx  |

Nother Update :
I don't know how this has happened and neither do the Doctors ....... mum is now walking on a zimmer frame with a nurse either side of her .............. and they are talking about sending her to a rehab unit so she gets stronger with physio and can do stairs ................ thank you everyone that has sent best wishes and positive thoughts xxxxxx |

I promise I am gonna stop these lol!!!!
Mum was moved to a rehab unit this afternoon ................ they have said she will be there about two or three weeks until she can master stairs .............. me thinks she will be out sooner .......... watch this space lol !!!! |

I've not been on for a while, as I get over problems of my own and all the stress and hassles they have produced.
But they pale into insignificance when I compare them with what you have gone through with your Mother.
Now if she is anything like you, personality wise, she'll be out in no time, as the "danger money" will have run out and the hospital will want her out!!!
You have my fullest support, best wishes and hugs at this stressful time. |
