I've just recently succumbed and joined the iPhone revolution. Are there any apps that you can recommend that I absolutely can't live my life without??

Thanking you in advance

Get all the ones by your network provider, help you handle your account and get any offers etc. Shopping, banking as PayPal ones are good if you shop online. Social media/Skype are handy. Also get a photography one with a self timer for pics and some basic photoshopping.

Hard to know what to recommend without knowing more about the iPhone user.

I use a guitar and mandolin tuner app a lot.

Yeah I've just got out of rehab for candy crush on my previous phone. Got up to level 391 and very addicted but I've decided I'm not putting it on this phone.

I have whatsapp, vouchercloud, camera! (Surprisingly a photo editing app) and a football app.

Just wanted to see if there are any little gems out there that people think are great.

"McDonald's have an app. Never get caught short again. "

What's the app for, so you can order your food before you arrive so it can be even more colder than before?!

It can't be to show where your nearest one is as they are on every street corner!!

in all honesty first app you should ever put on your phone is "find my iphone"

a) it means your phone can be traced,

b) if you cant get it back, it can be remotely wiped, and locked so no one else can use it...

after that.... up to you...

around me is a good general app for finding shops in your general vacinity....

google maps for sat nav

i'll leave the games to someone else... i am addicted to pocket planes.....

It would be so much better if you could run it off a non apple device when/if you need to though...

you can

set up find my iphone to locate via the icloud....

then if you ever lose it, go to www.icloud.com, put in your apple id and password and you should be able to trace or remotely lock/wipe

I don't know why apple actually don't put it on the phone as standard....

Check out Steve lima / futuro1 on Soundcloud.. He's a mash up producer/writer and probably one of the best on the planet. He was also the producer on the last Eva Cassidy album.

We suggest

snapchat - great fun app to share little vids n pix without them being save On senders phone.

Mydisk - move ur norty vid & pix into an app - away from ur photo gallery. Set a pin so no snooping eyes can _iew them if u let a friend use your phone.

Viber - to make free calls n texts over wifi or 3G to other users. Great when abroad.

Kik/what's app - excellent chat apps where sending multimedia becomes free. Create kik ID and chat to fellow fabsters...

Dropbox - free up iPhone memory by synching ur pix/vids to your pc.

Urban dictionary - learn so smutty street lingo

Instaeditor - edit ur pix - so look perfect for FAB..

That's just a few... Hope u like them.

Youn don't actually need to have the "find my iPhone" you just need to make sure it is switched on in the settings.

SettingsiCloudand it will be near the bottom.

The only benefit of having the app on your phone is that someone else can use your phone to search for their iPhone/ipad/ipod touch if lost or stolen. Useful also if you have 2 of the mentioned apple devices.

Another good one is to switch on iCloud back ups, so the phone will back up daily to iCloud when it's connected to wifi and on charge without you doing anything. Really useful if you ever lose or phone is stolen or even breaks.

SettingsiCloudStorage & BackupAt the bottom of the page.

Oh yeah, just tried and it does work. I was, for some reason, under the impression that you needed another apple device to use it. Thanks.
