Ignore button ??

A moment of genius perhaps ?? I could be wrong lol but how about an ignore button on the forums ??

IE. If you see a thread you dont like or feel is inappropriate you can hit ignore and that thread will not appear in the listings ??

Yes i know you can choose not to post or read it etc but by clicking ignore it means only threads you like the look of or want to comment on are listed ??

What do you think ??

I think as adults you have the ability to use self control,or use the off button instead

Nah, I just use my own judgement - some of the threads I love reading anyway but seldom comment on as I just love seeing the high horsers and white knights, others I'm fairly sure I won't enjoy so I just don't open it. An ignore button is a bit like a "may contain nuts" warning on a packet of cashews - pointless and nanny state like

And what's to be done if the post you ignore has been quoted in full by someone you adore?
